Course Assessment
You will be required to sit three paper based written exams. Each paper makes up a percentage of your overall A Level qualification as set out below:
- Paper 1 Listening, Reading, and Writing: 2 hours 30 minutes – 50% of A-level – 100 marks
- Paper 2 Writing: 2 hours – 20% of A-level – 80 marks
- Paper 3 Speaking: 21 – 23 minutes (including 5 minutes preparation) – 30% of A-level – 60 marks
- You will also have the choice to carry out a Spanish research project, on your chosen topic.

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests or assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learned. Entry Requirements
There are no formal entry requirements for this course. We do strongly advise that you have achieved a GCSE Spanish or an equivalent qualification before enrolling on this course. This A Level Spanish course is at difficulty level 3 – equivalent to a BTEC or a 60 credit qualification. This course is suitable for learners of all ages.
