Course Assessment

You will be required to sit three paper based written exams. Each paper makes up a percentage of your overall A Level Maths qualification as set out below:

• Written Exams
  • Paper 1: 2 hours – 33.3% of A-level, 100 marks
  • Paper 2: 2 hours – 33.3% of A-level, 100 marks
  • Paper 3: 2 hours – 33.3% of A-level, 100 marks

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests or assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learned. They do not count towards your overall A Level Maths qualification. They are marked by your course tutor and feedback will be provided with each completed unit.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. We do advise that you have achieved a GCSE Maths or an equivalent qualification before enrolling on this course. This A Level Maths course is at difficulty level 3 – equivalent to a BTEC or a 60 credit qualification. This course is suitable for learners of all ages.
