Course Assessment
You will be required to sit two paper based written exams and one speaking and listening assessment for IGCSE French. Each paper makes up a percentage of your overall IGCSE qualification as set out below:
- Paper 1 Listening: 30-minute written exam – 25% of IGCSE – 40 marks.
- Paper 2 Reading and writing: 1 hour 45 minute written exam – 50% of IGCSE – 80 marks.
- Paper 3 Speaking: 8-10 minute spoken exam – 25% of IGCSE – 40 marks.

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests or assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learned. They do not count towards your overall IGCSE French qualification. They are marked by your course tutor and feedback will be provided with each completed unit.
