Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this you will receive the following qualification: Psychology and Mental Health – Access to Higher Education certificate. You will also achieve up to 60 credits and 144 UCAS points, which can be used for direct entry to University. The number of UCAS points awarded is dependent on the learner’s outcome of the course i.e. pass, merit or distinction grades awarded. We advise that you check with your intended University as they all have different entry requirements.

Course Assessment

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests and assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learnt. They will count towards your overall Psychology and Mental Health – Access to Higher Education qualification and will marked and graded by your course Assessor. Your tutor will provide feedback on your work, and if any amendments are required, they will advise what is needed for you to complete that assignment.

You will be graded with a Pass, Merit, or Distinction.

Entry Requirements

You must be at least 19 years old when enrolling and should be able to communicate at a good standard level of English (Language). This Psychology and Mental Health – Access to Higher Education level 3 qualification will most likely need to be accompanied by other qualifications such as GCSE’s or Functional Skills in English and Maths. We can help you to achieve these along side your Access course, in time for University entry.

English requirements: We suggest that you have achieved a level 2 in English and / or be fluent. Please speak with one of our friendly team who will help you with this if required.
