Course Assessment

You will be required to sit two paper based written exams. A pass grade is set at grades 4 / 5 and is formally a grade C). 9 is the highest grade equivalent to an A*. Each paper makes up 50% of this IGCSE qualification.

• Paper 1: 1 hour 45 minutes – 50% of IGCSE, 80 marks.
• Paper 2: 2 hours 15 minutes – 50% of IGCSE, 80 marks.

We can offer you a guaranteed exam space at one of our exam centres it the UK when you choose to study this IGCSE English Literature course with us at Upskill Online UK. Alternatively, you may choose to organise and book your own exams.

During the course, you will be required to complete one introductory assignment and 9 further assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learned. They do not count towards your overall English Literature qualification. They are marked by your course tutor and feedback will be provided with each completed unit. There is no coursework to produce for this subject.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. A good standard level of reading and written English is required due to reading and analysing texts from the 19th, 20th and 21st centuries.
