Our partners are a UCAS registered centre, meaning you can use this course to gain direct entry to all universities as you will also achieve up to 56 UCAS points.

Course Assessment

You will be required to sit three paper based written exams. Each paper makes up a percentage of your overall A Level qualification as set out below:

• • Paper 1 Listening, Reading, and Writing: 2 hours 30 minutes – 50% of A-level – 100 marks
  • Paper 2 Writing: 2 hours – 20% of A-level – 80 marks
  • Paper 3 Speaking: 21 – 23 minutes (including 5 minutes preparation) – 30% of A-level – 60 marks
• You will also have the choice to carry out a French research project, on your chosen topic.

We can offer you a guaranteed exam space at one of our exam centres it the UK when you choose to study this A Level French course with us at Upskill Online UK. Alternatively, you may choose to organise and book your own exams.

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests or assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have just learned. They do not count towards your overall A Level French qualification. They are marked by your course tutor and feedback will be provided with each completed unit.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. We do strongly advise that you have achieved a GCSE French or an equivalent qualification before enrolling on this course. This A Level French course is at difficulty level 3 – equivalent to a BTEC or a 60 credit qualification. This course is suitable for learners of all ages.
