Course Assessment

You will be required to sit two paper based written exams. Each paper makes up a percentage of your overall A Level qualification as set out below:

  • Written Exams
    • Paper 1: 2 hours  – 33.3% of A-level – 80 marks
    • Paper 2: 2 hours  – 33.3% of A-level – 80 marks
    • Paper 3: 2 hours  – 33.3% of A-level – 80 marks

We can offer you a guaranteed exam space at one of our exam centres it the UK when you choose to study this course with us at Upskill Online UK. Alternatively, you may choose to organise and book your own exams.

During the course, you will be required to complete learning activities, tests or assignments to show your knowledge and understanding of the units you have learnt. They do not count towards your overall A Level Sociology qualification. They are marked by your course tutor and feedback will be provided with each completed unit.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. We do advise that you have achieved a GCSE in Sociology or an equivalent qualification before enrolling on this course. This A Level Sociology course is at difficulty level 3 – equivalent to a BTEC or a 60 credit qualification. This course is suitable for learners of all ages.
