A cancer diagnosis can be a daunting and overwhelming time. It’s important that people can access the right levels of care and services when they need it most. This Cancer Support Level 2 short course is great CPD for those working in health and social care, but is also suitable for those who care for someone living with cancer.

One in two people will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. For many individuals, diagnosis can be a daunting and overwhelming time. Being able to access the
right levels of care and services provides valuable support when people need it most. As cancer treatments are improved and more people survive cancer, an awareness of the impact of living with cancer long-term and knowledge of how to support individuals is vital for anyone caring for someone with cancer. The Cancer Support Level 2 will provide you with the knowledge skills and confidence to support someone who is living with Cancer.

Course Assessment

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, Learners will achieve an NCFE CACHE Cancer Support Level 2 qualification. Your certificate will be posted out to your home address.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is highly recommended that you possess a proficient command of the English language to successfully finish the course.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged over 19+ years
  • Lived in England for 3+ years
  • Not on any Apprenticeship
  • Have valid ID

Duration

7 weeks. This Cancer Support Level 2 course is designed to be flexible and fit around your work, family or home life and commitments. All deadlines for your course will be shown in your online course platform once you are enrolled to help keep you on track.

What Next?
