Course Assessment

There are no examinations required with this AET – Award in Education and Training Level 3 course. The Learner will need to conduct a micro-teaching session (a short teaching session) in your place of work, volunteering placement or at our learning partners assessment centre as it needs to be observed. Assessments are set out as below:

• TMA – Tutor Marked Assignments
• Practical Demonstration (Observation)

You may choose to have an internal assessor or a colleague who has an assessing qualification at this level or higher, or a full training qualification. Learners will be given guidance on how to observe and report your practical observations required to pass the course. Alternatively, you can choose to use one of our learning partners Assessors, which we can arrange for you at an additional fee.

Exams

There are no exams required with the TQUK AET – Award in Education and Training Level 3 qualification.

Course Outcome

When successfully completed the course, Learners will achieve an TQUK AET – Award in Education and Training Level 3  qualification and gain 12 credits.

Learners must be above the age of 19 years old. This course is suitable for most learners who have an intermediate ability of the English Language.
