Course Assessment

There are no examinations required with this NCFE CACHE Teaching Assistant Level 3 Certificate. The Learner will need to be employed in a school or arrange to complete a work experience placement in Key Stage 1 setting or above. Assessments are set out as below:

• Assignment

You may choose to have an internal assessor or a colleague who has an assessing qualification such as A1 or CAVA, alongside a Level 4 or above support teaching qualification or a full teaching qualification. Learners will be given guidance on how to observe and report your practical observations required to pass the course. Alternatively, you can choose to use one of our partners Assessors, which we can arrange for you at an additional small fee.

Course Outcome

Entry Requirements

Learners must be working in a Key Stage 1 teaching environment or volunteering. 100 hours in a placement is needed to achieve this qualification. Learners must be above the age of 16 years old. However, this course is suitable for most learners in any school or college setting.
