Course Assessment

Your tutor will provide you with feedback on your work and let you know what needs to be changed in order to finish that unit.

You will receive text reminders when your work is due. Your work will be marked by the course Tutor and returned within 7 days.

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, Learners will achieve a TQUK Level 3 qualification in Understanding Mental Health. Your certificate will be posted out to your home address.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is highly recommended that you possess a proficient command of the English language to successfully finish the course.

Eligibility Criteria:

This course is funded via the National Skills Fund. You will be eligible for funding if:

Your income is below the income threshold applicable to your region. We can provide guidance on this when you enquire.

You must:

  • Have the same qualification at level 2, or similar relevant experience.
  • Live in a qualifying region in England
  • Be aged 24+ years old
  • Resident in the UK/EU for 3+ years, for purposes other than study.
  • Earn less than £30, 000 per year*
  • Be unemployed
*This figure is based on West Midlands. Threshold varies per region. Please contact us to receive guidance on this, if you live in a different part of England.

If you are not eligible to receive funding for this qualification, you can apply for an Advanced Learner Loan with nothing to pay until you earn over £27,660k a year. The price is £599. Please contact us for guidance.  Application and further information can be found here.

Duration

15 weeks. The Certificate in Special Educational Needs (SEN) Level 3 course is designed to be flexible and fit around your work, family or home life and commitments. All deadlines for the course will be shown in your online course platform once you are enrolled to help keep you on track.
