Housing Practice is an occupational area which requires an individual to have relevant knowledge, understanding and skills to practice within the Housing context, primarily as a customer service advisor. This Housing Practice Level 2 qualification will give you a basic understanding of housing and introduce you to some of the skills and knowledge necessary to participate in housing related activities.

We are supporting housing professionals across England to gain the qualifications needed to meet the Social Housing (Regulation) Act 2023 requirements, and evidence their professional practice within the sector, with this Housing Practice Level 2 course.

Over 4 million people in the UK live in social housing, and with some social housing tenants being at their most vulnerable, it’s important that anyone working in the sector has a sound understanding of the range of services provided by social housing, the issues that tenants might face, and how to
correctly record and report any problems. You will learn all this and more with the Housing Practice Level 2 qualification.

Course Assessment

Course Outcome

Upon successful completion of this course, Learners will achieve a Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Certificate in Housing Practice Level 2 qualification. Your certificate will be posted out to your home address.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this course. It is highly recommended that you possess a proficient command of the English language to successfully finish the course.

  • Lived in UK for 3+ years
  • Not on any Apprenticeship
  • Have valid ID

What Next?

Once the CIH Housing Practice Level 2 course is successfully completed, you could progress onto a Level 3 course CIH course. Upon successful completion of the Level 3, you ca become a Certified Practitioner Member of the CIH.
